We are currently seeking a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing to manage the nursing department of a long term care skilled nursing facility.
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must have previous experience as a Director of Nursing
- Must have experience working in a skilled nursing or long term care setting
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Provide effective nurse management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving supports and services.
- Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related supports and services.
- Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed.
